This is a great idea. We did something similar last year with ‘Black Dog’ by Levi Pinfold. YR to Y6 looked at different aspects and we encorporated art, design, reading, writing, listening, speaking and technology in our work. We’re planning the same this year too. To promote reading in our school we’ve chosen authors as our class names. My class, Y2 will be Rosen class, never heard of this chap though! Thanks for the ideas. Great blog.
